It is a REQUIREMENT for the adults who volunteer or will be around Scouts during Scout/Pack activities to complete specific protection training to comply with Boy Scouts of America as well the Catholic Church given our Charter Organization is Prince of Peace Catholic Community.

Boy Scouts of America's YPT (YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING)

Youth Protection Training (YPT) is a 15-minute online training module to comply with requirements set by Boys Scouts of America that you'll need to complete.

You do not have to be a registered member or have a member ID to take Youth Protection training. To take Youth Protection training go to MyScouting.org and create an account. From the MyScouting.org portal, click on E-Learning and take the Youth Protection training.

Upon completion, please print the certificate of completion to submit to Den Leadership or Pack Trainer.

Last, but not least, Prince of Peace Catholic Community is PACK 1928's Charter Organization. As such, the Catholic Church REQUIRES all adults who volunteer or are working with children in any capacity at the Church or Church-sponsored events/organizations to attend/complete VIRTUS Training. There are VIRTUS training dates are year-round.
